We are seeking an outstanding Senior Research Associate, High Throughput and Assay Development to join the High Throughput Assay team. The successful candidate is expected to work effectively across the organization to drive the implementation of advanced immunological assays that are robust and scalable.
What You Will Do:Support the High Throughput Assay team in the execution of experiments to build advanced workflows on automated systems, spanning synthetic biology, genome editing, and immunological assaysTroubleshoot and document workflows under developmentAssist lab members in the proper operation of automation instrumentsPerform other related duties as assigned and based on company needs
What You Will Bring:B.A. or B.S. in cell or molecular biology, bioengineering, genomics, immunology, or a related discipline 2+ years experience in a research setting developing methods on automated systemsPassion for improving processes using data-driven decisionsThe ability to work both independently and in a team to solve challenging problems in a fast-paced work environmentMust have experience operating lab automation devices such as liquid handling robots (Labcyte Echo, Biomek, Hamilton STAR, BioTek plate washers, etc.) Experience culturing primary human cells or immune cells preferredExperience with flow cytometry, immunological assays (e.g. ELISA), or genome editing preferredExperience working with a laboratory information management system and electronic lab notebook preferredExperience with coding (python, C#, R, Go, RDMS) preferredWorking knowledge of statistical analysis and design of experiment (DOE) methodology preferredWorking knowledge of quality management systems (IQ/OQ/PQ) preferredStrong organizational and communication skills to keep track of, document, and share scientific work
