Senior Manager, IT

ArsenalBio’s mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer.  Our products are being designed to herald the transition of adoptive cell therapy from a hospital based treatment to outpatient therapy, like most other cancer treatments.  Our people are our greatest asset, they bring scientific talents in molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, protein chemistry, computational biology, automation, genome engineering, software and other fields to make the future happen now.

ArsenalBio is seeking a Senior IT manager to lead and support the IT infrastructure team as a part of our efforts to develop and commercialize curative immune cell therapies. The Information Systems (IS) department within ArsenalBio is responsible for partnering with lab operations and functional business groups in the design, deployment and ongoing support of Information System solutions in support of our corporate mission. The position will work cross-functionally with all members of the organization to ensure that our IT technology infrastructure is providing the required level of value and performance. 

This position will work closely with end users and the operations team to provide a best in class IT work experience for all employees. Key objectives of the role will be to work cross-functionally to build, deploy, and support critical IT services that support development of next-generation cellular therapies at  ArsenalBio.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure that our services are robust, resilient, secure, and compliant
  • Ensure smooth delivery and operations of IT/IS services
  • Align the IT/IS service delivery with the company's business objectives and assist with the definition of the multi-year IT/IS strategy
  • Create operating procedures, internal systems SLA, stats, policies documentation, and user resolution documentation including FAQ documents
  • Creates and reviews all policies and procedures for IT infrastructure as well as any other company policies and procedures that pertain to it.
  • Responsible for driving performance against identified Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Support security operations (procedures/firewalls/patching/LDAP) on all endpoints
  • Support compliance standards (data backup and recovery/DRP)
  • Monitors service activities, reviewing response times, problem logs, and trends in problems reported. Implement process improvements measures to better or streamline the existing processes.
  • Manage and maintain all IT/IS assets
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiation, and budgeting
  • Lead and manage IT/IS help desk
  • Lead the installation and configuration of hardware and software components throughout the employee life cycle (onboarding to offboarding)
  • Lead IT/IS projects, including system design and deployment of new IT/IS systems and services 
  • Provide guidance and training to IT/IS staff (including external consultants)
  • Partnership with internal stakeholders across the company to analyze business requirements, determine technology needs and select / implement appropriate solutions.
  • Planning and execution of projects that support the company’s strategic goals and projected growth.
  • Manages the IT operational and CAPEX budgets for the group.
  • What You Will Bring

  • Proven track record of providing exceptional IT/IS services and operating enterprise environments
  • Knowledgeable with Enterprise apps, Personal computing, networking, security and troubleshooting
  • Understanding relationships between technology and business operations.
  • 5+ years of experience in an IT/IS management role
  • Experience in GxP environments preferred. 
  • Proven experience with G-Suite, Mac environment, MDM, and security solutions
  • Responsible for delivering high quality standards for overall service delivery of Infrastructure desktop services.
