We are seeking an outstanding Scientist, T-Cell Screening Operations to join the High Throughput Assays team. The successful candidate is expected to work effectively across the organization to execute high quality T-cell screens.
What You Will Do:
Operate multiple automation platforms to transfect primary T-cells and perform downstream functional assays.Troubleshoot, improve, and innovate processes to increase efficiency, speed, and efficacy.Manage, coordinate, and execute complex experimental schedules within a broader team.Interpret experimental results, communicate conclusions to colleagues and make/escalate decisions as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in Discovery, Software Engineering, and Automation to maintain peak pipeline efficiency.
What You Will Bring:
B.S. or M.S. degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related discipline. B.S. with 7 + years of relevant experience, M.S. with 5+ years of relevant experience. Or, Ph.D. with relevant field experience.Proven laboratory skills, the ability to generate high-quality and reproducible data, and history of independently troubleshooting experiments. Experience writing, optimizing, and following complex protocols and SOPs.Track record of successful collaborative work on a team.Effective written and verbal communication.Experience executing high-throughput protocols using laboratory automation platforms including liquid handling robotics.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cell culture, flow cytometry, and T-cell functional assays.Knowledge of SQL or other database tools and/or basic proficiency with Python or related programming language.
