ArsenalBio’s mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer. Our products are being designed to herald the transition of adoptive cell therapy from a hospital based treatment to outpatient therapy, like most other cancer treatments.
Our people are our greatest asset, they bring scientific talents in molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, protein chemistry, computational biology, automation, genome engineering, software and other fields to make the future happen now.
Our approach requires novel receptors to empower cell therapies to sense their environment and respond as needed to resolve disease states. We are seeking a talented scientist to join ArsenalBio’s Binder Discovery group to support efforts in the design and delivery of binding domains to be deployed on these novel synthetic receptors.
What You Will Do:Support efforts to identify target antigen binders from immune and non-immune repertoires for a portfolio of cell therapy applicationsDevelop capabilities for in vitro display selection and screening of target antigen binders from large librariesSupport efforts to characterize binder specificity, affinity and epitope diversity in support of downstream synthetic receptor screeningMaintain familiarity with the relevant current literature and its application to binder discovery, screening methodologies, synthetic biology and cell therapyInterpret and effectively execute experiments in line with project timelines and goals
What You Will Bring:PhD or Masters degree in molecular biology, protein engineering or a related field, with 2+ or 6+ years of relevant research experience in industry or academia, respectivelyExperience with phage display library selections and high throughput screening methodologiesExperience with characterization of target antigen binders, including specificity, affinity and epitope binningWorking knowledge of rodent immunization and screening strategiesEntrepreneurial behaviors demonstrated by agility, accountability, transparency, resourcefulness, and ability to get things doneDemonstrated ability to perform as a team player
We are committed to hiring the best talent from diverse backgrounds. A diverse workforce engenders richness of thought, creativity and discovery. We invite individuals who embrace intellectual achievement to bring their unique personal and professional journeys and together we will build transformative cell therapies for cancer patients.
