ArsenalBio is seeking a Program and Alliance Manager to manage one or more highly complex R&D programs and/or high profile partnerships.
This role will partner with a program team and program team lead to develop, gain governance approval, and execute the program strategy, while ensuring effective communications. This candidate may also be the primary point of contact with external partners to manage day-to-day collaboration activities.
As we grow our organization, this person will be expected to lead or participate in initiatives to resolve complex operational issues or improve business operations.
What You Will DoPartner with the program team lead and functional leadership to organize the formation of a program teamWork with the program team lead and functional team members to define project scope and strategy, and lead preparation of the product development planCoordinates preparation and review of governance documents, periodic project reports, budgets, etc. Along with the program team lead, represents the program team at governance meetingsSupports the program team in identifying and anticipating program risks and opportunities, and developing mitigation/maximization plansPartner with external collaborators to guide day-to-day joint development efforts and communicationsCo-chair effective, action-oriented program team and partnership meetings, communicating minutes, decisions, and actions in a timely mannerLead or participate in one or more initiatives to build operational efficiency, company culture, and business processesSupport and be an example of high-performing team behaviors, including transparency, collaboration, shared accountability, and integrity.
What You Will BringAn advanced degree in a scientific field and a minimum of 5 year relevant experience, including at least 2 years as a project manager leading cross-functional teamsMust have experience applying the principles, concepts, practices, and standards of pharmaceutical project managementMust have excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and resolve conflicts between internal team members and with external partnersMust be able to understand and communicate scientific and business data and have good presentation skillsMust be able to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity, and deliver high-quality resultsMust be able to work under minimal and at times no supervision, determine personal work plan, and schedule tasks and activitiesPMP certification and alliance management experience desiredPrior experience in cellular therapy, synthetic biology, and oncology research desiredProficiency in GSuite, Smartsheet, and other productivity tools is a plus
