ArsenalBio, a privately held programmable cell therapy company engineering advanced CAR- T therapies for solid tumors, is seeking a talented EHS Technician to work on-site based in our South San Francisco office.

ArsenalBio is seeking an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Technician to support the Research and Development activities in our South San Francisco Headquarters. This position will directly support the teams’ compliance activities, ensuring a safe work environment and handling daily EHS tasks in the various laboratories.
What You Will Do:
Assist with the application of federal, state and local EHS laws and regulationsAct as an EHS advocate in the laboratory, modeling safe behaviors and encouraging othersHandle all hazardous waste processing, biological and chemical, including collection, storage and coordination of disposal through approved vendorsConduct regular inspections of safety equipment and supplies to ensure function and availability for employees and othersRespond to EHS reports submitted via internal Participate on ArsenalBio’s Safety Committee and emergency response teamManage ArsenalBio’s chemical inventory and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database, ensuring availability of SDS to all employeesSupport the EHS Department’s Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)Assist in the development of EHS policies, procedures and practices and support training programs associated with those
What Will You Bring:
Minimum of an Associates degree in EHS, Safety or a science-related field, Bachelor's degree preferredExcellent organizational, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsGreat customer service: excellent teamwork, collaboration and an ability to resolve conflicts within the lab across various users and teamsAbility to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity and effective prioritization and deliver high-quality resultsProficiency in GSuite and other productivity toolsAbility to multitask as needed in a start-up environmentDesire to support ground-breaking cell therapy technology in its nascent stages, helping to treat cancers using peoples’ own immune system

The estimated base salary offer for the preferred primary location of San Francisco Bay area ranges from $69,400-$85,000
Salary ranges for other locations may vary from this range. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, experience, education, and location. In addition to these factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer.
