In Vivo Project Manager/Associate Project Manager (2158-N-700-PMA)

ArsenalBio’s mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer.  Our products are being designed to herald the transition of adoptive cell therapy from a hospital based treatment to outpatient therapy, like most other cancer treatments.

ArsenalBio is seeking a Project Manager / Associate Project Manager to support planning and scheduling our in vivo studies as a part of our efforts to develop and commercialize curative immune cell therapies. 

This candidate will work closely with the In Vivo Translation team, cell therapy product teams / subteams, and cell production core team to proactively plan, schedule, and execute in vivo studies, whether executed in house or through CROs.  Effective cross-functional communication, risk management, and scenario planning are key responsibilities of this role.  

As we grow our organization, this person will also be expected to lead or participate in initiatives to resolve complex operational issues or improve business operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Work with product teams, subteams, and the in vivo translation team to proactively plan, cost, and schedule in vivo studies to support our pipeline of cell therapy product
  • Develop systems to track and communicate upcoming in vivo study schedules and budgets
  • Work with CROs as needed to contract and schedule studies
  • Support the team in identifying and anticipating program risks and opportunities, and developing mitigation/maximization plans
  • Co-chair effective, action-oriented In Vivo Translation team meetings, communicating minutes, decisions, and actions in a timely manner
  • Lead or participate in one or more initiatives to build operational efficiency, company culture, and business processes
  • Support and be an example of high-performing team behaviors, including transparency, collaboration, shared accountability, and integrity
  • What You Will Bring:

  • A scientific degree and at least 2+ years (MS) / 4+  years (BS) relevant experience in the biotech / pharmaceutical industry
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and resolve conflicts between internal team members and with external partners
  • Must be able to understand and communicate scientific and business data and have good presentation skills
  • Must be able to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity, and deliver high-quality results
  • Must be able to work under minimal and at times no supervision, determine personal work plan, and schedule tasks and activities
  • Prior experience with in vivo research and CAR-T cell therapy desired
  • Proficiency in GSuite, Smartsheet, and other productivity tools is a plus
