ArsenalBio’s mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer. Our products are being designed to herald the transition of adoptive cell therapy from a hospital based treatment to outpatient therapy, like most other cancer treatments.
The Principal Talent Partner will be an integral part of our Talent Team by delivering the best experience for our candidates and Hiring Managers. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The role will be based in South San Francisco and will report directly to Senior Director, Talent. This position will be a combination of remote and onsite work.
What You Will Do:Responsible for full lifecycle recruitment of assigned rolesMaintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates and cultivate a network of passive talentScreen candidates for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements and facilitate interview process with hiring teams while ensuring a positive candidate experienceManage both candidate & hiring manager expectations and process end-to-endSet expectations and consult with hiring managers regarding the hiring process and responsibilitiesBuild strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure a smooth recruiting process and consult with them regarding staffing best practices, trends, issues and challengesOptimize the use of technology to streamline and maintain our competitive edge in recruitingProvide data analytics to steer recruitment strategiesPropose and implement ongoing improvements to optimize recruitment effortsPartner with People team members to build Talent Acquisition processes and programs, including interview training, social media recruitment strategy, etc.Help manage relationships with third party vendors (if engaged)Other recruiting, projects & HR operational duties as neededServes as main point of contact for internship program, identifies and foster university relationshipsHelps to establish relationships with students from underserved communities at universities (building candidate pipeline)Take part in and manage on-going Talent Acquisition projects ranging from university hiring, developing sourcing strategies, branding and technology upgradesMonitor candidate surveys to ensure that we are providing candidates with a positive recruiting experience, and recommend and help to implement process improvementsPartner with business leaders and HR to define and establish a long-term strategy that may include: identifying critical jobs, determining talent gaps, assessing internal as well as external availability, and developing long term plans to bridge the gaps.
What Will You Bring:Bachelor's degree or equivalentMinimum of 14+ years of recruiting experience managing the full-life cycle candidate recruitment process (source, network, screen, recruit, market and close top talent) requiredProven track record of full lifecycle sourcing and recruiting in the BioPharma, life sciences industry supporting recruitment for two or more of the following functions: Research & Development, Scientific, Tech Ops, Engineering and Clinical functions requiredEvidence of a network of recruiting capabilities across leadership and IC rolesAbility to manage multiple priorities and deliver high quality work against tight deadlinesStrong organizational and communication skillsDemonstrated ability to build relationships within HR and with business leadershipExercises judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsStrong working knowledge of systems and tools including ATS, and Google Suite requiredProven track record of high volume, high quality recruitment across multiple business disciplinesProven experience working in an early-stage start-up environment is preferred
