ArsenalBio’s mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer. Our products are being designed to herald the transition of adoptive cell therapy from a hospital based treatment to outpatient therapy, like most other cancer treatments. Our people are our greatest asset, they bring scientific talents in molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, protein chemistry, computational biology, automation, genome engineering, software and other fields to make the future happen now.
Early Development (ED) Early Development is a group within Medical Sciences that will oversee the integration of early discovery and technology builds into lead candidate product designs, culminating in the generation of IND-enabling data packages. These data will be used to evaluate the safety and efficacy of engineered cell therapy products and may include:
1) Characterization of cell therapy products describing potency, target engagement, cell fitness, cell fate, and proliferative potential
2) Preclinical safety and toxicology assessments to evaluate cell products for off-target effects or cellular transformation related to genome engineering.
ED will also partner with Alliance and Program Management to deliver IND-enabling data packages for partnered programs. The VP, Head of ED will report to the Chief Medical Officer and build a matrix team to partner closely with all R&D activities at ArsenalBio.
