Head, Program and Alliance Management

ArsenalBio’s mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer.  Our products are being designed to herald the transition of adoptive cell therapy from a hospital based treatment to outpatient therapy, like most other cancer treatments.  Our people are our greatest asset, they bring scientific talents in molecular biology, immunology, pharmacology, protein chemistry, computational biology, automation, genome engineering, software and other fields to make the future happen now.

You WIll:

  • Support Arsenal’s culture and mission to develop medicines for patients and establish a robust development, discovery and technology capability to enable cell therapy products and platforms.
  • Establish and communicate right-sized cross-functional program processes, team structures, and decision pathways to foster transparency, efficiency, alignment and scale in partnership with leaders from across the organization
  • Working with cross-functional leaders to refine and manage the portfolio of discovery and development activities and product decision-making while being accountable for meeting processes, schedule planning, meeting facilitation, and communication of decisions.
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators of our discovery and development programs to monitor enable strategic discussions, scenario planning, decision and trade-off analyses for investment options   
  • Support and provide point person alliance management activities for all discovery and development programs with outside partners
  • Work with Technology Program Management to maximally utilize and functionally tailor enterprise systems for Discovery and Development organizations and interdisciplinary teams Attract, develop and retain high-quality talent     
  • Coach and manage staff both directly and indirectly
  • What You Will Bring:

  • Advanced degree in job-related area, with a minimum of 5 years of industry experience·   
  • Advanced level of science and clinical acumen.
  • Work experience in cell therapy and oncology required 
  • Cross-functional team and relationship-enhancing skills·  
  • Previous work and leadership experience in multidisciplinary drug development teams
  • Outstanding Project Management skills, including expertise in designing, developing, and managing project schedules and resource management with enterprise software tools.·     
  • Understands financial aspects, including knowledge of resource planning (headcount and budget) and management·   
  • Ability to critically and objectively interpret and evaluate scientific and competitive, business-related information.·    
  • Exercise wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches critical to program/organization; requires minimal program strategic direction
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills for bridging between scientific and business participants, for negotiating timelines and for effective collaboration, with internal and external executive-level management
