ArsenalBio is seeking a Research Associate to assist in oncology target discovery as a part of our efforts to develop and commercialize curative immune cell therapies. This candidate will assist in the early validation of targets using RNA and protein-based approaches.
What You Will Do
Under the direction of a manager, execute high-quality, well-controlled experiments to validate tumor target antigen candidates.Maintain mammalian cell cultures.Execute cell staining and flow cytometry assessments.Execute RNA- and protein-based assays to validate lead target expression profiles.Screen and develop reagents to enable target validation.Interpret and effectively execute experiments in line with project timelines and goals.Maintain an electronic lab notebook, ensuring experimental methods and results are recorded timely, accurately, and consistently.Communicate with project leads about project status, significant findings, or critical problem areas.
What You Will Bring
B.S. in Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field with 2+ years of relevant research experience in industry or academia.Excellent aseptic cell culture techniques required.Experience with flow cytometry, immunological assays (e.g. ELISA and Westerns) and qPCR.Experience with data analysis using tools such as FlowJo and GraphPad Prism.Very good organizational skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to recognize and resolve basic problems encountered in standard procedures. Ability to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity and deliver high-quality results.

The estimated base salary offer for the preferred primary location of San Francisco Bay area ranges from $69,400–$85,000.
Salary ranges for other locations may vary from this range. Base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, experience, education, and location.
