ArsenalBio’s mission is to develop efficacious and safe cellular therapies for patients with chronic diseases, initially cancer. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead our translational science and in vivo pharmacology at ArsenalBio. Substantial expertise in tumor xenograft and syngeneic mouse models, oncology, immunology and biomarker discovery, as well as translational research and regulatory filings, is highly desirable. The successful individual will oversee and lead the in vivo modeling group and work with discovery researchers to enable target discovery and next generation adoptive cell therapies. In addition, the successful candidate will support in vivo assays necessary to support product development and regulatory filings for pivotal clinical studies. This role requires an individual with outstanding communication and leadership skills.
What You Will Do: Lead the pre-clinical in vivo pharmacology group effort that utilizes syngeneic, transgenic and other in vivo tumor models to support discovery science as well as pharmacology efforts to advance projects as requiredResponsible for collection, analysis and interpretation of experimental data Oversee all training and supervision of dosing studies, blood and tissue sampling, and surgeries as requiredDevelop novel pre-clinical efficacy studies to discovery biologySupport product development and regulatory filings for pivotal clinical studiesManage internal resource allocation and external collaborationsResponsible for working with team members to draft protocols and then ensure proper authorization and complianceParticipate and present data during internal research meetings and interface with cross-functional groupsParticipate in the training of in vivo pharmacology personnel as needed for proficiency in all aspects of tumor model studiesFollow laboratory safety guidelines and practices
What You WIll Bring:PhD in cancer biology or related field with 10+ years of relevant industry experienceStrong background in tumor biology, immunology and tumor models including syngeneic and human cell line derived modelsExtensive hands-on experience with all aspects of running tumor modelsExperience with various tumor models to demonstrate mechanisms of actionExperience working with antibody therapeutics is highly desiredExperience managing a team of scientists and research associates in a biopharmaceutical settingDemonstrated ability to work in collaboratively in a cross functional environmentExperience in vivarium operations, resource management, and budget planning is requiredMust have excellent troubleshooting, organization, and planning skills, and the ability to work under timeline in a fast-paced environmentExcellent written and oral communication skills
